An opportunity has arisen for a Professional Nurse to be part of the Aurum Institute and you are welcome to apply should you meet the requirements for the position.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Professional Nurse &#8211; West Coast<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Malmesbury, Western Cape, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> PHD\/TBA\/AR<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Contract 12 Months<br \/>\n<strong>Salary: <\/strong>Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nTechnical Work Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Provide and supervise comprehensive, safe and effective evidence based clinical procedures to achieve identified health outcomes<br \/>\nManage all activities required for the implementation of efficient HTS services in the Sub-Districts<br \/>\nData Quality Assessments &#8211; Auditing of files and registers at facility level<br \/>\nLiaise with Internal and External Stakeholders regarding Counsellors statistics performance and concerns<br \/>\nFulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the South African Nursing Council and the Health Professions Council of South Africa<br \/>\nEnforce the rights of all participants and maintain cultural sensitivity<br \/>\nPlan, evaluate and manage clinical procedures in consultation with the multidisciplinary team<br \/>\nProvide comprehensive reports and recommendations on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of processes in Sub-District<br \/>\nGood communication, organisational and planning skills<br \/>\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders<br \/>\nFleet Management<br \/>\nTracking and monitoring staff leave<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><br \/>\nDiploma in Nursing or a Bachelor of Nursing Degree<br \/>\nRegistration with the South African Nursing Council<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advantageous:<\/strong><br \/>\nAdvanced diploma in Primary Health Care<br \/>\nGood Clinical Practice Certificate<br \/>\nHIV\/AIDS Counselling and Management Certificate or Similar<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><br \/>\nMinimum 4 years\u2019 related experience and training<br \/>\nExtensive counselling experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nIntermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)<br \/>\nValid Driver\u2019s License and own vehicle<br \/>\nOvernight Travel when required<\/p>\n<p>Non \u2013South African citizens must have a valid work-permit<\/p>\n<p>Whilst all applications will be carefully considered, only short-listed applicants will be interviewed.
