\nNational Parks (Addo Elephant National Park near Port Elizabeth, Mountain Zebra National
\nPark near Cradock, Karoo National Park near Beaufort West & Camdeboo National Park in
\nGraaff-Reinet) The successful candidate\u2019s responsibilities would include but not be limited to
\nthe following:
\nResponsibilities:
\n\u2022 Develop and implement a regional communications strategy in line with the corporate\u00a0communications strategy.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Develop and maintain media relations.
\n\u2022 Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders.
\n\u2022 Advise Regional \/ Park Managers on key stakeholder issues.
\n\u2022 Identify, plan and coordinate events in the Parks.
\n\u2022 Draw up a business plan for the region with related budget annually.
\n\u2022 Ensure that all published information conforms to corporate communications standards.
\n\u2022 Manage the website for the region.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Ability to work long hours, without supervision, with strong attention to detail
\nRequirements:
\n\u2022 Be in possession of a BA degree \/ National Diploma Journalism\/Communications or
\nPublic Relations and have at least 3 years in corporate communications coordinating
\nmedia liaison, events management, public relations.
\n\u2022 A background in nature conservation \/ biological sciences \/ tourism will serve as an
\nadded advantage.
