\n\u2022Pre-planning Weekly Sales Prospects.
\n\u2022Develop your own customer database.
\n\u2022Research potential new customers.
\n\u2022Service new and existing customers.
\n\u2022Meet monthly sales targets.
\n\u2022Filing reports on-line.
\n\u2022Maintain Service Records and Documentation.
\n\u2022Achieving daily and weekly call ratios to ensure targets are met.
\n\u2022Will be responsible to generate their own leads by means of cold calling.
\n\u2022Conduct site surveys and supply solutions to the clients.
\n\u2022Preparing quotations\/proposals\/tenders and presentations.
\n\u2022Consolidate data in order to facilitate management reporting.
\n\u2022Develop and implement a growth strategy that focuses on specific market segments.
\n\u2022Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
\n\u2022Negotiating sales and clinching business deals.
\n\u2022Initiate Invoicing & Payment.
\n\u2022Conduct handing over of new contracts to operations.
\n\u2022Management of costs compared to budget.
\n\u2022Enhance own product knowledge in order to demonstrate products to customers
\n\u2022Develop focus in specific industry sectors.
\n\u2022Plan own time allocation, schedules, and customer base.
\n\u2022Focus on the value of offering \u2013 follow up with after-sales service.
\n\u2022Improve and maintain the standard of service.
\n\u2022Implement customer product training when required.
\n\u2022Present reports – sales trends, customer growth, customer issues.
\n\u2022Able to adapt to the specific market.
\nRequirements
\nMinimum qualifications and experience:
\n\u2022Matric
\n\u2022Chemical sales experience within the Food and Beverage Industry.
\n\u2022Open plant cleaning and CIP knowledge.
\n\u2022Willing and able to assist clients during a night-shift audit, if and when needed.
\n\u2022Must be able to train internal and external clients at all levels.
\n\u20222- 3 years of experience in technical or specialized sales.
\n\u2022Proven track record in establishing and growing hygiene markets.
\n\u2022Excellent selling, communication, and strong negotiation skills.
\n\u2022Organized and structured \u2013 able to work independently.
\n\u2022Practical knowledge of the environment where products are used.
\n\u2022High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
\n\u2022Highly computer literate: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
\n\u2022Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
\n\u2022High work standards, excellent communication skills, energetic and driven.
\n\u2022Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Exceptional communicator both verbally and written.
\n\u2022Logical thinker as well as strategic and organized.
