The incumbent will also be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that nursing care and service delivery is implemented and practiced within a multi-disciplinary quality assurance team. In accordance the incumbent will be accountable for coordinating capacity building, mentoring and training.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Unit Leader &#8211; Cape Town CBD<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> Cape Town CBD<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> R 7.00 &#8211; 7.00 Monthly<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nEnsure growth of the business through marketing, communication and education of stakeholders on an on &#8211; going basis.<br \/>\nEnsure that all financial policies and procedures are adhered to in the unit i.e. patient and unit administration, CAPEX, equipment, budget planning, stock, waste, etc.<br \/>\nEnsure effective staff care by compliance to HR and payroll policies and procedures in managing staff, staffing and related issues daily in the business.<br \/>\nEnsure and create a safe and conducive dialysis environment for NRC to render optimal dialysis daily.<br \/>\nEnsure adherence to clinical policies and procedures and ensure that NRC\u2019s quality initiatives are utilised for all patients under your management.<br \/>\nEnsure efficient customer service by maintaining proactive and effective stakeholder and interdepartmental relationships and communication in order to maintain optimal standards of service delivery.<br \/>\nEnsure on &#8211; going education, training and development of yourself and unit staff in order to provide the best dialysis service.<br \/>\nEnsure optimal patient care in line with NRC\u2019s policies &amp; procedures, best care practices and quality initiatives.<br \/>\nDemonstrate the National Renal Care Values and Caring the NRC Way in all my behaviour<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nRegistration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse\/ Midwife or Registration with HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice)<br \/>\nRelevant qualification with a minimum of 5 Years post basic and proven leadership and\/or people management experience within healthcare (including clinical competence in renal)<br \/>\nBasic understand of labour legislation, financial and change management principles<br \/>\nCapacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation.<br \/>\nComputer Proficiency (MS Office) essential.<br \/>\nDriver\u2019s license and own transport a must.<br \/>\nCoaching<br \/>\nCaring<br \/>\nBuilding a Successful team<br \/>\nRespect for others &amp; Diversity Management<br \/>\nInfluencing others<br \/>\nCollaboration<br \/>\nEffective Communication<br \/>\nAdaptability<br \/>\nGood Judgement<br \/>\nOrganisational Understanding<br \/>\nDeveloping others<br \/>\nBuilding Trust<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/Account\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FCandidate%2FFullRegistration%3FJobKey%3D7b34595a7e99405b955eafd0019dfebe%26isApplication%3D1&amp;ReturnUrlWithProfile=%2FJob%2FIndex%2F47465%3FAutoApply%3DTrue\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> 24\/03\/2021<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Unit Leader will be responsible for coordinating improved quality nursing care by ensuring compliance to professional and ethical practice.
