\nThe Technical Support Engineer will need to manage all the company product technical support tasks, by ensuring that the client’s issues are adhered to and work efficiently. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the daily support tasks that will ensure efficient and coordinated business activities as well as to develop new products and services.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Matric with programming.
\n\u2022Post Matric qualification in technology hardware and software support will be to the benefit of the applicant.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Minimum of 2-3 years of technology hardware and software operational support experience.
\n\u2022The ability to program various hardware devices (based on manufacturer specs or utilising appropriate scripting languages, as
\napplicable).
\n\u2022Experience in RFID Technologies, including RFID Hardware and RFID Middleware Software will be beneficial.
\n\u2022The ability to complete the required hardware and software testing of RFID Solutions as part of overall Informatics Solutions.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Electronic assembly and understanding of circuitry and electronics
\n\u2022Writing diagrams and schematic diagrams
\n\u2022Coding knowledge in SQL Programming and database manipulation will be beneficial.
\n\u2022Essential radio frequency identification (RFID) knowledge, UHF and LF primarily.
\n\u2022Basic knowledge of how to assemble and disassemble equipment.
\n\u2022Understanding of circuitry\/electronics

\n\u2022Complete fault isolation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities during system integration and testing of systems in the
\ndevelopment phase.
\n\u2022Collaborate with the Shift DX team members to ensure continuous improvement and iterative evolution of informatics
\napplications.
\n\u2022Work with cross-functional teams and provide requested deliverables per project schedules.
\n\u2022Quantifies Risks: Identifies and quantifies technical risks and their consequences relative to the overall success of the project;
\nrecommends appropriate actions.
\n\u2022Aligns Strategy to Customer Needs: Modifies operational practices and technical recommendations to accommodate internal and
\nexternal customer needs.
\n\u2022Recommends Responses to Technical Trends: Synthesises technical and customer information to analyse and recommend
