\nTo take responsibility for the execution, testing and documentation of minor software deliverables
\nTo ensure that quality software is delivered in alignment with software standards and in accordance with a pre-defined requirement and\/or technical design.
\nEnsuring current and ad-hoc work is carried out in a productive, timely and efficient manner
\nTo analyse and clarify pre-defined software requirements and\/or technical designs to ensure comprehensive understanding of business need.
\nTo provide suitable solutions based on the business need, developed within the architecture framework.
\nAccountability for development.
\nTraining intervention attendance.
\nApplication of training, initiatives and process changes
\nTaking career development and performance management seriously (look for ways to improve competence\/results.
\nSetting of own goals and working towards them.
\nContinuous and constant improvement
\nEnsure that business objectives and personal delivery aligns to and meets the TSW principles.
\nEffectively build and maintain mutually beneficial internal relationships
\nLeverage all available information from our partners, the industry, and internally to ensure we are constantly reviewing our departmental processes, systems and protocols
\nwith a view to improve efficiencies.
\nAnalyzing current performance inhibitors and finding solutions to ensure business continuity.<\/p>\n
\nKnowledge and Experience Requirements<\/p>\n
\nGrade 12 (Standard 10) with University Entrance (NQF4)<\/p>\n
\nA recognized software development certification \/ degree \/ diploma<\/p>\n
\nDesirable Knowledge Requirements:
\nKnowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
\nKnowledge of System Design principles and frameworks<\/p>\n
\nCommunication (written and verbal)
\nAnalysis
\nLogical Reasoning
\nAdaptability and\/or flexibility
\nDevelopment skills in preferred technologies and frameworks (IBM iSeries \/ Microsoft .Net etc) – preferable
\nPrevious experience within a financial services environment.<\/p>\n
