Reporting to the Treasury and Royalties Manager, this position executes the end to end transactional processing in the Rights and Royalty (R&R) function, R&R period end activities and the accurate payment of royalties to authors within payment terms (local and foreign), within service level agreements (SLA).<\/p>\n

Job Title: Royalties Administrator<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> Perform full Royalty function in a Shared Services Environment. Requirements:<\/strong> Basic Financial Accounting understanding and 3 years\u2019 experience within a financial environment

\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\nAccounting records for all entities are accurately recorded and in line with Group policies and timetables.
\nEnsure that Rights and Royalties reporting targets are met as documented in the Service Level Agreement.
\nRights and Royalties master data, rebates and payments are reviewed and processed accurately and on time.
\nAuthors cost are reconciled as per agreed deadline and communicated to publishing team monthly.
\nAssist with investigation and resolution of Rights and Royalties queries.
\nPerform period end activities, balance sheet and author reconciliations.
\nAudits are effectively supported, and points are closed in a timely manner.
\nMaintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders.
\nAdhere to company policies and protocols, notably systems an administration.<\/p>\n
\nThe successful applicant will need:<\/p>\n
\nA National Diploma in Accounting
\nExcellent English language skills, written and spoken
\nAn ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
\nAn ability to operate on the SAP system
\nPossess skills of high attention to detail, good analytical skills and the ability to multitask
\nWorking knowledge of audit preparation
\nAbility and commitment to perform effectively and work with others to achieve agreed business outcomes
\nExtensive reconciliation experience and the ability to investigate unreconciled items
\nDemonstrate a spirit of competitiveness, display ethical behavior, support teamwork & communicate effectively<\/p>\n
