\nDegree or Diploma in Nursing
\nRegistration with South African Nursing Council
\nExtensive experience in TB & HIV\/AIDS treatment and care
\nNIMART, IMCI, QI, PMTCT and PACK\/PC101 trained<\/p>\n
\nDiploma in Clinical Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment
\nQuality Improvement Training<\/p>\n
\nAt least 1 years\u2019 experience as a Nurse Mentor
\n3 years General Practice experience or Specialist Area
\n5 years\u2019 experience in working in a Primary Health Care setting
\nExtensive experience in HIV\/AIDS and TB treatment and care
\nExperience in managing patients on TB Treatment\/ART
\nUpdates in area(s) of Mentorship \u2013 Annual or 3 yearly as applicable<\/p>\n
\nValid Driver\u2019s licence with Own car
\nSA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
\nAdvanced computer skills
\nMinimal\/Moderate\/Excessive overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required
\nWilling to work overtime
\nRequirements
\nTechnical Work Responsibilities
\nGuide and support DOH Nursing staff implementing DS-TB and DR-TB
\nPerform Clinical Audits
\nDocument Lessons Learnt for future improvement of Programme
\nReview reporting documents for accuracy and completeness
\nConduct monthly file audits and Data Quality Assessments
\nImplement, support and manage Quality Improvement initiatives and provide technical assistance
\nDevelop Quality Improvement Plans
\nConduct skills assessment for staff working in all health facilities and Community Based Services
\nConduct Weekly Facility visits to provide in-service training in all health facilities
\nConduct weekly\/monthly mentoring to staff that received training
\nConduct bi-weekly support visits to district hospitals
\nEnsure adherence to Guidelines and Best Practice
\nKeep up to date with developments in the field<\/p>\n
