The following positions have become available as part of the various projects currently being run by us and you are welcome to apply should you meet the requirements of the position.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Technical Advisor [Head Office]<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Parktown, Gauteng, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> 2021\/03\/29\/02<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent\/Contract<br \/>\n<strong>Salary: <\/strong>Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe TB Technical Advisor is responsible to provide technical advisory services (clinical and programmatic) both internally and<br \/>\nexternally in the area of TB. The incumbent will provide guidance, monitoring, and technical assistance to the TB Directorate at<br \/>\nNational Department of Health (NDoH). The incumbent will provide high-level technical and programmatic assistance that<br \/>\nincorporates evidence-based best practices in the design, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of TB<br \/>\nprevention and treatment programming. This will include support to policy and guideline development, managing and executing<br \/>\nreviews, audits, and situational analyses, and supporting research projects where required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical Work Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nLiaising with Internal\/External Customers\/Stakeholders.<br \/>\nApplying knowledge and expertise in programmatic management of TB.<br \/>\nProviding technical support and guidance related to the field of expertise.<br \/>\nConducting File and Facility Audits in selected Districts, ensure roll-out and develop customised Programmes: MDR-TB Training<br \/>\nProgramme; MDR-TB Mentorship and Clinical Support etc.<br \/>\nData Analysis.<br \/>\nProject Management.<br \/>\nCompiling Grant\/Fund applications\/proposals.<br \/>\nCompiling Quality Programme, Funder, and other Reports.<br \/>\nProviding training and mentoring.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Education:<\/strong><br \/>\nMasters Degree \/ NQF level 9,<br \/>\nPost graduate Diploma and<br \/>\nProfessional Registration \/ NQF 8<\/p>\n<p>Professional Qualification<br \/>\nTB Union<br \/>\nInternational AIDS society<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><br \/>\nUp to 10 years in Social Science and Health Sciences<\/p>\n<p>Area of Expertise<br \/>\nProgramme Management and HIV\/AIDS treatment and care<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong><br \/>\nKindly provide current and relevant references for background checks<br \/>\nAll appointments are subject to the preferred candidates obtaining the necessary security clearance, reference checking and competency assessment.
