\nOversee a team of credit controllers and collections specialists to ensure output is aligned to business requirements. Serve as an escalation point for issues and a conduit between the credit and collections team and the rest of the CEC business. Identify changes or improvements to processes and business rules to improve business performance against KPIs.<\/p>\n
\nRESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nManagement of the organization’s credits and accounts receivable.
\nMeasurement and analysis of department performances and credit administrations.
\nOptimization of credit management processes.
\nMaintenance of relationship with collection agencies, insurance companies, sales department etc.
\nAdministration of customer credit files.
\nInvestigate aged debt.
\nLiaise with debtors and with account managers to clarify underlying issues, and recommend appropriate management actions to resolve these and maximize cash collections.
\nEnsure execution of work as required by the credit and collections team.
\nAssess and research the client\u2019s creditworthiness.
\nEducate and give guidance to the credit and collections team.
\nPredict risks by creating credit scoring models.
\nOversee processing of credits in line with company policy.
\nMonitor periodic credit reviews.
\nMonitor deductions being taken by customers.
\nManage the application of late fees.
\nMonitor the credit granting and updating process.<\/p>\n
\nIdentify, draft, develop and implement operational processes, policies and guidelines in line with relevant regulations as set out by regulatory bodies.
\nOversee implementation of governance frameworks and policies into systems.
\nIdentify shortcomings in compliance processes, systems and procedures, and develop ad hoc solutions to problems.
\nEnsure adherence to applicable legislation i.e., NCA etc.<\/p>\n
\nContribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports related to credit and collections.
\nMonthly reporting on financial performance to Senior Management.<\/p>\n
\nProviding vision and direction to the team members.
