\nThe main purpose of the position is to lead and manage news team in the execution of the daily news agenda.
\nSet news agenda and take overall responsibility for multimedia output and operational deliverable required. Provide editorial guidance, brainstorm and execute stories for the various platforms. Lead in achieving content and multi-media strategy goals in the newsroom. Assist in the development of the newsroom. \n\u2022Supervise and coordinate work of reporters and other editors;

\n\u2022Delegate stories\/content\/projects\/work to team members to ensure best possible spread of workload;
\n\u2022Cultivate stringers and freelance contributers;
\n\u2022Overseeing all day-to-day editorial operations; prepare, rewrite and edit copy to improve readability, or supervise others who do this work;
\n\u2022Overseeing video and visual multimedia content across all digital assets.
\n\u2022Managing and overseeing technical equipment and online component.
\n\u2022Develop story or content ideas, considering reader or audience appeal.
\n\u2022Edit scripts to ensure news reports are produced in an effective and timely manner. (quality control and content).

\n\u2022Update station and newsroom on international trends and ideas and implement where approved
