Job Title: Inspector: Aeronautical Information Services (AIS)<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> Certification of Aeronautical Information Service providers Planning and Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n Plan for inspections, audits and surveillance activities of Aeronautical Information Management (AIM). Quality Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n Ensure compliance with ICAO & ISO Standards to be applied in the field of operations of Aeronautical Information Management Receive, validate, verify, approval and maintenance of aeronautical information\/data<\/p>\n Receive, validate, verify, approval and maintenance of aeronautical information\/data for publication in the Centralised Aviation database. Liaison:<\/strong><\/p>\n Coordination with all stakeholders in respect of the functioning of AIM and to provide input at any ATM forum where required. To provide general aviation support service to airport, airlines and other operators in the form of information relating to safety operations.<\/p>\n To monitor client satisfaction regarding services provided and their changing needs. Enforcement:<\/strong><\/p>\n Propose and submit regulation review to CARCOM. Employment equity candidates will be given first preference in line with SACAA Employment Equity Targets. Ideal Qualifications Aeronautical Information Services Core content course<\/p>\n 3 years experience in (AIS )Aeronautical Information Service Operations.<\/p>\n

\nOversight:<\/p>\n
\nConduct inspections and audits of the Aeronautical Information Management as required by the annual inspection plan.
\nPropose amendment to Manual of Procedure and Technical guidance Manual. ISO procedures and forms.<\/p>\n
\nEnsure completeness of inspection reports.
\nMake appropriate recommendations<\/p>\n
\nAccountable for compliance with Centralised Aeronautical database processes.
\nEnsure compliance with QMS.<\/p>\n
\nAccountable for the overall publication of aeronautical information\/data for the safe air navigation services.
\nProcess applications for flexible use of airspace.
\nCoordinate with data providers
\nReceive and process applications for the registration of ICAO Radio Telephony call signs.
\nReceive and process applications for the registration of ICAO Location indicators<\/p>\n
\nTo provide consultation on AIM matters.<\/p>\n
\nDraft and negotiate Service Level Agreements with data providers.<\/p>\n
\nFollow up on findings and propose enforcement where necessary.
\nEnsure compliance in aerodrome safety management & procedure manual<\/p>\n
