A Cash Processor may perform anyone and or a combination of the functions below.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Cash Processor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> CPSS\/OM05<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Contract 12 Months<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nReceive Cash:<br \/>\n\u2022 Receive deposits and update on the applicable systems.<br \/>\n\u2022 Comply with all policies and procedures to eliminate any possible risks to the company and the customer.<br \/>\nPrepping Cash on applicable system.<br \/>\n\u2022 Check container\/Bag for damage \/tamper and report all anomalies to Team Controller.<br \/>\n\u2022 Acknowledge container\/bag on applicable system.<br \/>\n\u2022 All deposits must be processed in line with banks SLAs and SOPs on the applicable system.<br \/>\n\u2022 Accurate prepping must be done to enable effective and efficient note counting.<br \/>\nNote Sorting<br \/>\n\u2022 All deposits\/notes prepped for (FDP\/ACDP) must be sorted the same day and within the cut off times.<br \/>\n\u2022 Rejected notes must be sent to the Cash Processor Together with the PCD cards and deposit slip and stop loss bag in the prepping box to verify and balance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reconciliation of ACDP deposits:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Perform a reconciliation of all notes rejected in order to verify and validate<br \/>\n\u2022 All rejected notes to be manually checked for counterfeits, dye-stained and mutilated notes.<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform cash transfers to vaults.<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform end of day balancing\/ reconciliation of all cash received<br \/>\n\u2022 Handle all transactions including shortages and surpluses according to SOPs.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that all transactions, including shortages and surpluses are handled according to SOPS<br \/>\n\u2022 Desktop deposit processing<br \/>\n\u2022 Check container\/Bag for damage \/tamper, report anomalies to Team Controller.<br \/>\n\u2022 Acknowledge container\/bag on applicable system.<br \/>\n\u2022 All deposits must be kept separate per customer at all times and all deposits must be processed on the same day received by the customer.<br \/>\n\u2022 All deposits must be processed and balanced on the applicable system.<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform end of day balancing\/ reconciliation of all cash received<br \/>\n\u2022 All transactions, including shortages and surpluses must be handled according to SOPS<br \/>\n\u2022 Accurate prepping must be done to enable effective and efficient note counting<br \/>\nSachet and Process Coin<br \/>\n\u2022 Process bulk coin deposits in accordance with SBV\u2019s policies and Procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Sort and process teller coin transfers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bank system Integrated deposit processing:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Validate all transactions linked to system integrations as per banks SLA.<br \/>\n\u2022 Inform client services of account numbers not linked to bank system to avoid delays in crediting the customer.<br \/>\n\u2022 Verify deposit account number to eliminate losses or misposts.<br \/>\n\u2022 Escalate system downtime\/delayed batches to team controller<\/p>\n<p><strong>Payroll and change:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Payroll \/ change transactions must be processed in accordance with SLA per customer.<br \/>\n\u2022 Report all discrepancies to the Team Controller timeously.<br \/>\n\u2022 Floats must be sealed in drop safe bags along with float packing slips and placed into trolleys as per client requirement.<br \/>\n\u2022 Payroll entries to be processed within the banks SLA timeframes.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain all equipment by reporting any defects on equipment to the Team Controller.<br \/>\n\u2022 Obtain banks authorization prior to despatching as per SOP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepack\/Treasury:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Assist with the accurate packing and unpacking of Bank and ATM Cash.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage consumables in line with packing requirements.<br \/>\n\u2022 Confirm that the bag and Seal No\u2019s are properly recorded.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Manage Equipment:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Utilise equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) protecting and taking care of company assets<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 6 to 12 months previous cashier\/teller experience
