\nTo ensure that strategic training is provided:
\n\u2022Identify the company\u2019s training needs and develop programs to meet these needs
\n\u2022Ensure that acceptable training programs are implemented in accordance with the authorized
\n\u2022Company\u2019s procedures \/ schedules and practices
\n\u2022Co-ordinate, facilitates and administrates the company\u2019s e-Learning
\n\u2022Design training materials in an outcome-based format and source appropriate training programs from external providers
\n\u2022Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training on individuals and departments or teams
\n\u2022Implement, facilitate, co-ordinate and develop on-the- job training when needed
\n\u2022Facilitate in house and external training designed to impart skills to employees for promotional and productivity purposes.
\n\u2022Ensure that training is facilitated when needed within the company.
\n\u2022Constantly identify the needs for improvements in existing training and modify accordingly.
\n\u2022Monitor training and based on the results, implement new approaches, techniques and programs.
\n\u2022Compile strategic framework for skills acquisition programs to meet current and future company requirements.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Responsible for submission of the work skills report\/ plan (WSP \/ ATR) to the W& R SETA annually.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Manage traveling logistics (including flights, accommodation etc) for attendees on inductions
\n\u2022Identify training needs through IDP\u2019s and other methods of conducting skills audit
\n\u2022Leading and directing training interventions (including the German and Local LMS portal)
\n\u2022Identify skills gaps in terms of critical skills within the company
\n\u2022Develop training targets and standard operating procedures (SOP) for identified skills gaps
\n\u2022Ensure that training supports the company \u2018succession plan\u2019
\n\u2022Liaise with departmental managers to determine skills deficiencies and future training needs
\n\u2022Ensure that competency assessments are conducted on an on-going basis
\n\u2022Identify appropriate and cost-effective training solutions to meet skills demands for the company
\n\u2022Compile and maintain database of service providers relating to training
\n\u2022Conduct effective due diligence prior to onboarding of training providers
\n\u2022Ensure course evaluations are conducted before and after training interventions
\n\u2022Facilitate bursary applications for both internal and external students<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Manage training documentation and records
\n\u2022Ensure regular improvements on training and recording of updated information
\n\u2022Ensures that training materials and instructions are facilitated effectively
\n\u2022Monthly reporting to the HR manager regarding training activities
\n\u2022Ensure effective and accurate update of personnel data on the SAP system (HR1)
