NRC cares, not only for its patients but also for society and earth.<\/p>\n<p>National Renal Care situated in Area Eastern Capes seeks to recruit an ambitious, talented, goal drive and self-motivated individual to fulfil the role of a Renal Care Specialist.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Renal Care Specialist &#8211; EC<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> Area EC<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Renal Care Specialist will be responsible for ensuring all unit quality audits are done and the improvement of patient outcomes for the area under their management. Render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure that all patient clinical records are maintained and updated in accordance with the deadlines, policies &amp; procedures and the NRC standards.<br \/>\nEnsure that all financial policies and procedures are followed in the unit i.e. confirmation, billing, private patients, stock, waste etc.<br \/>\nManage and maintain all medical equipment in accordance with NRC\u2019s technical policies and procedures.<br \/>\nEnsure that all NRC quality initiative programs are utilised for the patients under your management.<br \/>\nTo provide optimal patient care as per the nursing scope of practice and NRC\u2019s clinical care pathways<br \/>\nImprovement of Patient outcomes (QI\u2019s) for the area under your management<br \/>\nSubmission and usability of standard monthly clinical reports as per the clinical department\u2019s requirements with the Machinery and Occupational Safety Act.<br \/>\nThe effective functioning of the training academy in your area i.e. all programs are implemented and are being trained in line with the training schedule.<br \/>\nUnit Manager clinical training i.e. Implementation of focused clinical training based on the clinical results of the unit.<br \/>\nThe complete implementation of the following in the area under management: i.e. Clinical Needs Analysis, Clinical training plan\/In-Service Training, Patient Education and Research,<br \/>\nEnsure compliance to Occupational Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures in the units under your management.<br \/>\nDemonstrate the National Renal Care Values and Caring the Netcare Way in all my behaviour<br \/>\nValues: Staff Care, Passion, Joy, Ethics &amp; Integrity, Customer Focus<br \/>\nBehaviours: Show my respect, identity, dignity, compassion, appreciation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nRegistration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse\/ Midwife or Registration with HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice)<br \/>\nNephrology Nursing Diploma or Btech is essential.<br \/>\nRelevant experience in the nursing discipline<br \/>\nCapacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation<br \/>\nTaking action<br \/>\nCustomer Focus and Service Delivery<br \/>\nPersonal Work Ethic<br \/>\nCommunication<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/Account\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FCandidate%2FFullRegistration%3FJobKey%3Dcf5be43aa7b849dba307443c4b4cb3fe%26isApplication%3D1&amp;ReturnUrlWithProfile=%2FJob%2FIndex%2F45522%3FAutoApply%3DTrue\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> 05\/05\/2021<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>National Renal Care has grown and evolved into the leading total kidney and disease management organisation in South Africa.
