An opportunity exists in the firm for a dynamic individual to lead the P&C team Nationally. The P&C National Head will be accountable for the development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance. Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong>
\nDevelopment and Management of the People and Culture Function
\n\u2022Leads the development and execution of the P&C strategic plan and initiatives to support the firm and business unit strategies.
\n\u2022Develops and monitors an annual budget that includes P&C services, employee recognition, and benefits administration.
\n\u2022Oversees and manages the work of reporting P&C staff. Encourages the ongoing development of the P&C staff.
\n\u2022Establishes and maintains appropriate P&C policies, processes and systems for measuring necessary aspects of P&C throughout the firm.
\n\u2022Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves problems.
\n\u2022Works with executive leadership to develop effective internal communications (between and among management and employees).
\n\u2022Provides HR advice and counsel to Partners and Directors on HR issues and Implementation Strategies.
\n\u2022Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements
\n\u2022Manages the preparation and maintenance of such reports as are necessary to carry out the functions of the department. Prepares periodic
\nreports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.<\/p>\n

Recruitment:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Oversees the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
\n\u2022Interviews management and executive position candidates<\/p>\n

Employee Relations:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a
\nhigh level of employee morale and motivation. Conducts periodic surveys to measure employee satisfaction and employee engagement.<\/p>\n

Compensation and Benefits:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Establishes the firm salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay systems within the firm including bonuses and raises.
\n\u2022Leads competitive market research to establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain superior staff.
\n\u2022Monitors all pay practices and systems for effectiveness and cost containment.
\n\u2022Leads participation in at least one salary survey per year. Monitors best practices in compensation and benefits through research and up-to-
\ndate information on available products.
\n\u2022Recommends changes in benefits offered, especially new benefits aimed at employee satisfaction and retention.<\/p>\n

Organization Development:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Designs, directs, and manages a company-wide process of organization development that addresses issues such as succession planning,
\nsuperior workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, and change management.
\n\u2022Manages a process of organizational planning that evaluates company structure, job design, and personnel forecasting throughout the
\ncompany. Evaluates plans and changes to plans. Makes recommendations to executive management.
\n\u2022Identifies and monitors the organization’s culture so that it supports the attainment of the company’s goals and promotes employee
\nsatisfaction.
\n\u2022Keeps the executive team informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of company goals, and those that are not being
\naddressed adequately at the line management level.<\/p>\n

Training and Development:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Leads the implementation of the performance management process that includes performance development plans (PDPs) and employee
\ndevelopment programs.
\n\u2022Assists with the development of and monitors the spending of the firm-wide training budget. Maintains employee training records.<\/p>\n

Employee Wellness:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Oversees employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health.
\nRequirements
\nQualifications
\n\u2022B degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or relevant field
\n\u2022Masters Degree in Business or Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u20227-10 years of progressively more responsible positions in human resources, preferably in a similar industry in two different firms.
\n\u2022Experience supervising and managing a professional staff.
\n\u2022Demonstrated familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade within human resources including HRIS, the Microsoft Office suite of products,
\nfile management, and benefits administration.
\n\u2022Experience in organization development and change management.
\n\u2022Experience in and the ability to lead in an environment of constant change.<\/p>\n
