{"id":6412,"date":"2012-07-07T04:37:49","date_gmt":"2012-07-07T02:37:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=6412"},"modified":"2016-11-15T14:36:33","modified_gmt":"2016-11-15T12:36:33","slug":"etv-co-za-multimedia-content-producer-enews-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/etv-co-za-multimedia-content-producer-enews-online.html","title":{"rendered":"etv.co.za: Multimedia Content Producer: eNews Online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Multimedia Content Producer: eNews Online &#8211; eNews Online department (Johannesburg)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting to the Multimedia Editor: eNews Online, your key performance areas will include:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Source raw and edited video and photo content from eNews Channel and agencies<br \/>\nRepackage and edit video content for eNews Online<!--more--><br \/>\nPrepare and upload pre-existing content onto the web<br \/>\nResearch and archive video and still photography material<br \/>\nAssist on special reports with strong interactive multimedia components<br \/>\nEdit and script multimedia news stories for eNews Online in a variety of formats, including news and feature-length online videos, audio slideshows, galleries and interviews<br \/>\nWork with the eNews Online team to develop animation, slides and sound, info graphics and other \u201crich-media\u201d content to enhance the effectiveness of news stories<br \/>\nCreate, source and edit video packages and other rich media content across eNews digital platforms<br \/>\nDevelop and deliver strategy of multimedia news content<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Excellent technical skills, including experience with industry-standard editing software, including but not limited to Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop and audio editing software.<br \/>\nExperience in motion graphics software, including Adobe After Effects or Apple Motion beneficial<br \/>\nSound understanding of a broadcast newsroom workflow<br \/>\nSound understanding of local and international multimedia video trends<br \/>\nExcellent editorial judgment and knowledge of photojournalistic qualities<br \/>\nA relevant undergraduate qualification, preferably in broadcast or online journalism<br \/>\nMinimum of one year\u2019s experience in a broadcast or online newsroom<br \/>\nExperience, knowledge and ability to work within the standard operating procedures of a traditional newsroom<br \/>\nAbility to work efficiently in a team and independently<br \/>\nWillingness to work beyond standard work hours when stories require it<br \/>\nWillingness to work according to a shift system, incorporating some weekends and public holidays<\/p>\n<p>If you possess the criteria and qualifications as stated, please send a cover letter of no more than 350 words and a detailed CV to Jobs@etv.co.za.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing Date: 9 July 2012.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Only shortlisted applicants who meet the criteria will be contacted.
