{"id":6413,"date":"2012-07-01T08:37:51","date_gmt":"2012-07-01T06:37:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=6413"},"modified":"2013-10-01T03:07:59","modified_gmt":"2013-10-01T01:07:59","slug":"etv-south-africa-technical-operations-internships-6-vacancies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/etv-south-africa-technical-operations-internships-6-vacancies.html","title":{"rendered":"etv South Africa: Technical Operations Internships [6 Vacancies]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Location: Cape Town, Johannesburg<br \/>\nClosing Date: 02 July 2012<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical Operations Interns x 6 Cape Town (2) + Johannesburg (4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting to the GM Group: Technical Operations, successful candidates will be working and training in all of the following areas:<!--more--><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Studio and locations lights<\/li>\n<li>Studio Camera Operating<\/li>\n<li>Control Room (Autocue, PA, Graphics, Floor Manager)<\/li>\n<li>Server\/VT Operating<\/li>\n<li>Audio<\/li>\n<li>Media Room<\/li>\n<li>Video editing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Formal education in video\/television operations (minimum 1 year)<\/li>\n<li>Some exposure in television production or related fields<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Broadcasting\/Television terminology<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate and competent in the use of Ms Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel<\/li>\n<li>Good command of the English language (spoken and written)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take instructions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work within a team<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Responsible and accountable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<br \/>\nThe successful candidates will be required to work irregular and long hours, including weekends, public holidays and standby shifts.<br \/>\nThese are contract positions only.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you possess the criteria and qualifications as stated, please send your application together with a detailed CV to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jobs@etv.co.za\" target=\"_blank\">jobs@etv.co.za<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Only shortlisted applicants who meet the criteria will be contacted.
