Exciting opportunity to work at ACDC Dynamics, a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for an experienced and Dynamic Local\/ International Buyer.<\/p>\n
We are looking for a highly-skilled Buyer with strong industry knowledge of Electrical and Electronic products, who has the ability to forecast market trends. This position reports directly to the Procurement Manager.<\/p>\n

Job Title: Buyer Local\/ International<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> Procurement clerks, also known as purchasing assistants or departmental buyers, take purchase requests from various departments within a company and get price quotes from suppliers. Additionally, their responsibilities include contacting suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries<\/p>\n RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n Solid knowledge in Import & Export essential. \nResearch, select and purchase quality products and materials. Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing. Process requisitions and update management on status of orders. Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.<\/p>\n
\nCreate and maintain good relationships with vendors\/suppliers
\nMaking professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
\nMaintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
\nReview and analyze all vendors\/suppliers, supply, and price options
\nNegotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
\nEnsure that the products and supplies are high quality
\nCreate and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies
\nResponsible for order placement timing, supply \/ demand alignment, material replenishment and supplier performance
\nStay in constant touch and reply to phone calls and emails promptly
\nDevelop sourcing strategies
\nPayment terms negotiation, optimization and management
\nMaintain contracts with vendors
\nReview inventory and update as required
\nReceive orders from various departments
\nInitiate and keep track of orders
\nReceive, inspect and distribute orders
\nReconcile or resolve order discrepancies with supplies.
\nMonitor delivery times to ensure timeous deliveries
\nCoordinate annual overseas orders.
\nKeep daily records -Accounts to be submitted for payment to vendors on time
\nMake or purchase policy analysis and recommendations
\nLease or purchase policy evaluation and recommendation<\/p>\n
\nTwo (2) years previous experience as procurement officer or related position
\nKnowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures
\nProficient in all Microsoft Office programs
\nMatric Certificate with Maths and Accounting as subjects
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred
\nStrong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
\nAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines
\nAbility to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines
\nSolid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
\nAbility to analyze problems and strategize for innovative solutions
\nAbility to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
