\nThe successful incumbent will be responsible for expanding and providing improvement to new products and implementing appropriate tests. You will be responsible to help grow our chemical product range.<\/p>\n
\n1.Provide sound product and chemical advice to all stakeholders.
\n2.Responsible for all aspects to deliver value to the organisation in supporting and driving product development and expanding product ranges.
\n3.Identify continuous service and business performance improvement initiatives for the Products Department and Quality Department.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Research and develop chemical formulations, and manufacturing instructions.
\n\u2022 Evaluation and Improvement on current product formulations
\n\u2022 Make & test product samples based on specifications received
\n\u2022Compiling product files for sites & customers
\n\u2022Drafting, control & filing of product documentation in iLeader, EcoNet and distribution to external customers for current and new products; Technical data sheets (product specification), Safety data sheets, Labels andTest methods.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Administer CoA vault & create product CoA\u2019s
\n\u2022Investigate & process non-conformances & complaints
\n\u2022 Review and update procedures with regards to Legislative requirements
\n\u2022Support sales team
\n\u2022Coordinate New product trials
\n\u2022Develop & validate Test methods
\n\u2022Prepare test kits for sites
\n\u2022Satellite and conductivity meter calibrations
\n\u2022Co-ordinate & liaise with Laboratories on product sample analysis
\n\u2022Co-ordinate & liaise with registration institutions on product registrations
\n\u2022Assist with sourcing of Raw Materials
\n\u2022Assist with Supplier audits
\n\u2022 Any additional reasonable instruction
\n\u2022General administration<\/p>\n
\nMinimum Requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Experience in the service industry is essential.
\n\u2022National Diploma in analytical chemistry or similar is essential.
\n\u2022At least 3 years\u2019 of experience in chemical field\/industry\/ Laboratory & new product development.
\n\u2022Experience in leading a diverse team and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Strong leadership and organisational skills.
\n\u2022Ability to engage with people at different skill levels.
\n\u2022Excellent verbal and written communication.
\n\u2022Strong Negotiating skills.
\n\u2022Attention to detail.
\n\u2022Customer-centric.
