To lead the export sales team of Building Solutions BU at ALAF and generate export sales across the East African region including DRC Congo, Burundi, and Rwanda.<\/p>\n

\nManagement of sales Volume in East Africa Market:<\/strong>
\ni.To service existing customers in the export territories and secure new customers for business growth.
\nii.To ensure that the sales volumes are achieved as per budget on a consistent monthly basis.
\niii.Map the potential for the export business and identify the key customers for development.
\niv.Overall responsibility for managing the customer account in the export markets, ensure agreed collection efficiency and ensuring no unsecured credit in the markets.
\nv.To coordinate with the Customer Service department in ensuring adequate volumes are planned for the exports markets in line with the customer orders and delivery schedules.
\nvi.To achieve the agreed \/ targeted contribution from the export markets on per MT and absolute basis.
\nvii.To identify profitable customer accounts and increased volumes from these accounts.
\nviii.To increase volume of Premium colour profiles and promote Solution Sales in the export territories.<\/p>\n
\ni.To coordinate with marketing team and implement below the line activity in the export territory (Branding, Wall Painting, Dealer Signage\u2019s, Fundi meets etc.)
\nii.To roll out Trade promotion schemes in the specified markets and ensure annual targeted volumes are achieved from the key customers.
\niii.Circulate monthly MIS on the export markets.<\/p>\n
\ni.Work with ALAF Supply Chain team to obtain best transport rates for both Sea and road transport.
\nii.Obtain and keep credible transport companies and customs clearing agents<\/p>\n
\ni.To ensure export documents are duly prepared and stamped at the exit point as proof of export and returned for filing.
\nii.To Plan annual requirements and sanction application
\niii.To ensure proper audit application and execution as per guidelines<\/p>\n
\na)Qualifications required:<\/strong>
\ni.Minimum academic qualification: Bachelors Commerce, Trade, Economics or equivalent
\nii.Qualifications as an added advantage: MBA<\/p>\n
\ni.General work experience (years): 10 to 12 years
\nii.Specific to the position (level\/discipline\/years): 3 to 5 years
\niii.Industry: Construction \/ Building material – Roofing, Paints etc<\/p>\n
