\nProvide performance reporting and analysis of the organization’s digital
\nmarketing channels and campaigns. Works with a portfolio of clients to assist in
\ncreating a deep understanding of the impact and incrementality of our digital
\nmarketing efforts on the growth of the business; defines and implements
\nmeasurement strategies that align with client marketing and business objectives;
\nproduces meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and delivering daily, weekly and
\nmonthly, cross-channel performance reports with actionable insight. Conducts
\nconversion optimisation consultancies, with the aim of improving efficiency in the
\ndigital marketing strategies and increasing ROI.<\/p>\n
\nContribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates.
\nLead execution of complex reports, identifying and interpreting complex patterns
\nand trends, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations.
\nDevelop automated reporting and measurements for Digital Marketing channels,
\ncapturing the full spectrum of the customer journey from impression toengagement and conversion.
\nDevelop and improve daily, weekly & monthly forecasting and reporting models.
\nUtilise analyses to inform and influence the Digital Marketing Team\u2019s
\nperformance.
\nForecast all Digital Marketing KPIs for budget and planning purposes.
\nUtilise analytics expertise to perform in-depth database analysis to better
\nunderstand customer behaviour through segmentation and predictive modelling
\nin order to provide a more customer-centric experience.
\nAnalysis and insights to help Marketing Teams understand growth drivers, and
\ncollaborate to ensure ongoing data-driven optimisation of initiatives.<\/p>\n
\nConduct research and select relevant information to enable analysis of key
\nthemes and trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.
\nMeasure and analyse marketing campaigns to understand how marketing
\nchannels can better drive, conversion, ROAS as well as customer lifetime value.
\nSupport brand growth and new customer acquisition strategy by leveraging both
\nexternal and internal information on the market and our customer base (potential
\nand existing) to inform marketing decisions around media channels, offers,
\nmessaging, product selection etc.<\/p>\n
\nExecute market research to identify innovative industry trends, disruptors, and
\nnew market spaces for emerging or new market opportunities.
\nAnalysis of external market research to obtain insights into key target markets \u2013
\nboth potential and existing customer needs, perceptions, motivations,
\nexpectations, shopping behaviour, budgets and lifestyles.
\nEffective competitor analysis \u2013 including key product category analysis.
\nApplication of strong commercial insight, understanding and acumen in order to
\ninterpret, simulate and model customer behaviour.
\nFollow industry and emerging best practices in shaping the digital marketing
\nanalytics capability including a focus on data organisation, data quality,
\ndocumentation, and ongoing process improvement.<\/p>\n
\nSupport customer and market research by performing customer and market
\nresearch and analysis techniques.
\nContinuously identify new ways of how customer information can enhance
\nbusiness decisions.
\nTurn business questions into functional analysis \u2013 understand the business as
\nwell as the data behind the analysis.<\/p>\n
\nProvide analysis to monitor performance of digital marketing campaigns.<\/p>\n
\nContribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and generate
\nnew ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
\nProvide ongoing optimisation, growth opportunities, lost-opportunity analysis
\nthat the marketing teams can act on to improve metrics and increase
\nperformance.
\nKnowledge sharing within the broader Marketing team.<\/p>\n
\nDevelop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development
\nplanning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or
\nmaintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve
\nperformance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant
\ntechnology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing
\neducation, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.<\/p>\n
\nCarry out routine marketing tasks and provide support to others.
\nPartner with the Digital Marketing Team to identify priority analyses to improve
\nresults of future marketing campaigns. Advise on how to leverage marketing
\nchannels to meet growth targets and Marketing performance objectives.
\nParticipates in special projects as needed to provide analytical and decision
\nsupport on new initiatives.<\/p>\n
\nGrade 12\/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential); Google Marketing Platform
\nCertification (Essential); University Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics,
\nMarketing, Computer Science or similar (Advantageous)<\/p>\n
\n3 or more years’ experience in a Digital Marketing Analyst role (Essential);
\nExperience in the Financial Services or Retail industries (Advantageous)<\/p>\n

\nequivalent NQF level required for this role at time of application. As a registered
