\nAs part of the Business Development Unit, the Field Sales Representatives are the ambassadors of WWF South Africa, focusing particularly on raising awareness with and funding from individuals in public spaces, with the aim of developing a stronger commitment towards conservation and converting them into regular monthly donors.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022To directly attract and communicate with potential donors (at shopping centres and events) to solicit their support by becoming a regular financial donor to the organisation.
\n\u2022Build rapport with potential donors from the general public, providing an excellent engagement experience.
\n\u2022Continually improve knowledge and understanding of the WWF work and, in particular, the campaign product, confidently ensuring potential donors are informed, not mislead, at any point during the sales process.
\n\u2022Meet daily, weekly and monthly targets as prescribed by the WWF Field Sales Representative Performance Management Indicators.
\n\u2022Meet both quality and quantity standards for sign-up of new regular donors.
\n\u2022Ensure the effective and accurate administration and processing of sign-ups.
\n\u2022Maintain commitment, motivation and enthusiasm
\n\u2022Use scripts and guidelines as provided
\n\u2022Behave in a professional manner, reflecting WWF\u2019s values, ethos and policies at all times
\n\u2022Accurately and appropriately record, protect and report fundraising data
\n\u2022Create public awareness to support WWF-SA\u2019s conservation efforts
\n\u2022Assist, as required, with initial training and induction of new team members
\n\u2022Attend regular training, team meetings and discussions for improvement<\/p>\n

\nInternal \u2013 Reports to team leader and F2F Sales Manager. Work closely with your fundraising team on learning and improving the technique and tactic to raise funds for WWF-SA.
\nExternal \u2013 Spread the knowledge and conservation awareness to the public and engage them to be our regular donors.<\/p>\n
\nCriteria of employment:<\/strong>
\n-Completed Tertiary education is an advantage
\n-Min 1 year sales experience is an advantage
\n-Fundraising experience, including face-to-face fundraising experience is an advantage
\n-Have the ability to inspire people through outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills
\n-Fluent in English and one other official South African language
\n-Unshakable drive and motivation to succeed and build your campaign
\n-Effective at time management
\n-Have a strong work ethic, be target motivated and work well under pressure
\n-Passion for nature and conservation an advantage<\/p>\n
