Job Title: SPECIALIST ERT, D1: SERITI POWER, MIDDELBURG MINE SERVICES – INTERNAL \/ EXTERNAL<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> eMalahleni \/ Witbank, Mpumalanga, South Africa

\nSalary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nSupport Line Management to maintain safety and CEM compliance
\nThe duties will include but are not limited to:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Capital and operating budgets for emergency services
\n\u2022Contractor management \u2013 On site fire \/ rescue paramedics
\n\u2022Day to day management of contracted emergency services
\n\u2022Interface with specialized external emergency facilities including airlift evacuation when required
\n\u2022Informs HSES teams and line management of all incidents and progress on response and treatment
\n\u2022New developments and continual improvement in medical and fire emergency services and rescue
\n\u2022Provides operational management with a clear direction regarding Crisis and Emergency Management on site
\n\u2022Maintain an operational Crisis and Emergency Management (CEM) Plan at site level and monitor the ongoing implementation
\n\u2022Ensure functionality of volunteer team<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nYou will need:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Degree \/ National Diploma in HSE or Emergency response related
\n\u2022A minimum of 4 years\u2019 experience in clinical work as an AEA \/ ILS of which at least 1 year in a supervisory position
\n\u2022Registered with HPCSA Intermediate Life Support (ILS) Practitioner
\n\u2022The following skills are essential: Confined space rescue; high angle I & II rope rescue; basic aquatic (surface) rescue; trench rescue
\n\u2022Snake handling & defensive driving course
\n\u2022A driver\u2019s license for either Code 11 or 14 with a professional driving permit (PDP)
\n\u2022Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)<\/p>\n

Advantageous:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Experience in a managerial position in the mining environment<\/p>\n
