Join an industry leader and start your career with Ecowize.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Pest Control Technicians &#8211; Cape Town<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Milnerton, Western Cape, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> PCT_CPT<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022You will be responsible for inspecting buildings and the surrounding property for signs of insects, rodents and other pests.<br \/>\n\u2022Then determine which treatment is best and use the proper baits or traps to remove them.<br \/>\n\u2022Spray chemical solutions, powders, and gases on or near surfaces of a building or house to eliminate pests.<br \/>\n\u2022Identify invading pests, including rats, termites, snakes, wasps, ants, spiders, mosquitos, or bed bugs.<br \/>\n\u2022Set mechanical traps and place bait. Remove dead rodents after extermination.<br \/>\nRequirements<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022Grade 12<br \/>\n\u2022Pest Control Operator experience is essential.<br \/>\n\u2022P-Registration with Department of Agriculture.<br \/>\n\u2022Able to work flexible hours and overtime.<br \/>\n\u2022Must have a valid driver\u2019s license and be willing to travel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required skill sets:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022Good understanding and knowledge of the Pest Control Industry and service orientated.<br \/>\n\u2022Logical thinker as well as strategic and organized.<br \/>\n\u2022Ability to solve problems efficiently and to be pro-active in identifying potential problems.<br \/>\n\u2022Attention to detail.<br \/>\n\u2022Customer-centric.<br \/>\n\u2022Must have a strong preference to work within the Ecowize culture and values; Respect, Honesty and Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Open Communication, and Service Excellence.<\/p>\n<p>Please ensure that you have the minimum job requirements, before applying.<br \/>\nThe Company is committed to complying with legislation and to meet its strategic goals regarding employment equity.<\/p>\n<p>Your privacy is important to us.
