The individual will be expected to design and implement processes and systems for the ongoing operation of an efficient PMO. The Programme Manager will be responsible for managing programmes and projects including creating clear and attainable project objectives, building the project requirements, and managing the constraints of the project management triangle that is cost, time, scope, and quality.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Programme Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Roodepoort, Gauteng, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> PM001<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> R 800,000.00 &#8211; 1,100,000.00 Annually<br \/>\n<strong>Duration:<\/strong> 3 Months<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/strong><br \/>\nIdentify and maintain the standards for project management within the organization<br \/>\nEnsure that projects are delivered on time, within cost and are accurately scoped<br \/>\nStandardize and introduce savings of repetition in the execution of projects<br \/>\nProvide guidelines and metrics on the practice of project management and execution<br \/>\nDirect and manage all Fundi projects<br \/>\nMonitor and report on all active projects<br \/>\nReporting on progress to top management for strategic decisions on projects<br \/>\nBenefits realization tracking on all projects<br \/>\nImplementation of the Agile approach to project management Ensure that projects are in line with strategy and monitor during and after the project lifecycle<br \/>\nDistribute the required resources for project planning and execution<br \/>\nDeveloping and maintaining a detailed project plans<br \/>\nEnsure that the project deliverables in line with the project plan.<br \/>\nMaintain project scope and change controls<br \/>\nEnsure monitoring project progress and performance<br \/>\nEvaluation of project and dissemination activities<br \/>\nIdentifying user training needs and devising and managing user training programs<br \/>\nProviding regular status reports to the relevant parties, during the project life cycle<br \/>\nIdentify and ensure quality assurance procedures are met and followed<br \/>\nPotential project risks are proactively identified, and mitigation plans put in place to reduce risk<br \/>\nRisk mitigation plans are applied to minimize impact<br \/>\nEngage at a senior level to understand customer needs and provide input into project-based solutions in order to support and influence business decisions<br \/>\nContinuously engage with Project sponsors and owners to ensure delivery of projects according to business requirements<br \/>\nCollaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders<br \/>\nDefine and agree on the critical success factors and project KPI&#8217;s<br \/>\nProvide input into test strategies and procedures<br \/>\nLive the company values and lead by example<br \/>\nManage leave<br \/>\nWork in collaboration with the HC Business Partner to:<br \/>\nCapacitate the team (recruitment and training)<br \/>\nOn-board new employees<br \/>\nManage performance, ensure all employees have a development plan<br \/>\nRecognise and reward high performance<br \/>\nChange leadership<br \/>\nDisciplinary action<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nDegree in Project Management or related<br \/>\nAt least 5 years\u2019 experience in Business and project management with minimum 2 years managerial experience<br \/>\nExperience in Financial services would be advantageous<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/Account\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FCandidate%2FFullRegistration%3FJobKey%3Df872868ae2734dcc8b9c2815e788cc2b%26isApplication%3D1&amp;ReturnUrlWithProfile=%2FJob%2FIndex%2F49922%3FAutoApply%3DTrue\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> 04\/08\/2021<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Programme Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the Project Management Office (\u201cPMO\u201d).
