We have an opportunity for a Senior Decision Support Analyst to join our Decision Support team within Credit Risk. The purpose of the Senior Decision Support Analyst is to drive business value to our internal and external stakeholders, in order to optimize business decisions and processes, as well as train and mentor more junior team members.<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nKey Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.Business analytics:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Work closely with business stakeholders to drive business efficiency and enhancing business decisions by using data.
\n\u2022Monitor and analyse real-time and historic data to identify trends, issues, and\/or opportunities.
\n\u2022Identify opportunities for advanced analytics and automated decision solutions.
\n\u2022Enhance the use of data, reports and analytical tools for decision making by educating and influencing stakeholders.<\/p>\n

2.Decision Support Solutions:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Work closely with the business to identify opportunities for monitoring and decision support solutions.
\n\u2022Gather requirements, design and implement decision support solutions.
\n\u2022Work closely with the data team and information and analytics architect to implement data solutions in the data warehouse.
\n\u2022Work with the advanced analytics team to develop appropriate predictive analytics solutions.
\n\u2022Work with IT, business and data science to implement embedded automated decision solutions.<\/p>\n

3.New business functionality:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Ensure data and analytics requirements are considered in new business solutions.
\n\u2022Do impact assessments on changes to existing functionality.<\/p>\n

4.Stakeholder management:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Effective internal stakeholder management within the Analytics team.
\n\u2022Effectively represent the data and analytics team in the organisation. Listen, influence, collaborate, communicate in a way that enhances the efficiency and decision-making capabilities of the organisation.<\/p>\n

5.Teamwork:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Contribute proactively to all aspects related to the optimal performance and wellbeing of the analytics team.
\n\u2022Coach and mentor junior team members.<\/p>\n

6.Project management:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Effective planning and prioritising of own work.
\n\u2022Provide progress feedback to business stakeholders and line management.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nFunctional Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022SQL
\n\u2022Advanced Excel
\n\u2022Data analysis
\n\u2022Microsoft business intelligence visualisation technologies (SSRS, Power BI)
\n\u2022Business process monitoring and optimisation
\n\u2022Formulating analytical solutions to business problems
\n\u2022Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with a high degree of logic and attention to detail<\/p>\n

\u20225+ Years in an analytical role, preferably in a formal analytics or business intelligence environment.<\/p>\n
