\nThe Senior Applications Developer will play a key role in the design, development, installation, testing and maintenance of software systems, including integration related projects. The systems developed will assist the business with efficiencies through digitization and improve service delivery.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Write and Maintain programming scripts to enhance functionality and\/or performance of company applications as necessary as defined by the Solution Architect and associated business process.
\n\u2022Ability to work formally across the full SDLC within the defined governance frameworks
\n\u2022Attending and contributing towards company Development Meetings on Projects.
\n\u2022Train end-users on the developed systems where required
\n\u2022Guide Jnr team members as required on the projects to close out within project timeline
\n\u2022Assist with development manuals and guidelines as required for developed systems
\n\u2022Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.<\/p>\n
\nQualifications, Experience and Knowledge:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Grade 12
\n\u2022Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline
\n\u2022Minimum 6 Years\u2019 experience with software development
\n\u2022Familiar with databases and database design
\n\u2022Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans
\n\u2022Familiar with Java, Javascript, HTML, .Net and MS Environments, C#, C, Python, SQL
\n\u2022Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
\n\u2022Basic knowledge of model driven frameworks
\n\u2022Understanding of SQL Server DB
\n\u2022Familiar with AGILE software delivery methodologies.
\n\u2022Exceptional code review and quality assurance skills<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Proficiency in Developing, deploying, customizing and integrating applications
\n\u2022Demonstrated Proficiency in customising and creating applications
