The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the provision of an accurate and timeous drawing office service to internal development and specific customers for specialized projects, and to enable the factories to manufacture components and assemblies to specification.<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):<\/strong>
\n\u2022Preparation of production drawings and GA’s within parameters of existing CAD packages
\n\u2022Compile material lists, BOM’s and generation of codes
\n\u2022Propose general and specific design details
\n\u2022Ensure activities are planned, assigned, executed and verified
\n\u2022Ensure design parameters comply with relevant statutory regulations, standards and codes of practice
\n\u2022Ensure that Technology obtained from outside sources is preserved and integrated into DFC;s Technology bank.
\n\u2022Filing within the data management system ie CAD server
\n\u2022Maintain engineering register<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Relevant draughtsman qualification
\n\u2022Engineering diploma or equivalent will be advantageous<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE:<\/strong>
\n\u20221-2 years Technical or Mechanical Draughtsman experience.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022Mechanical Aptitude
\n\u2022Technical Aptitude
