The Washington State University – Global Health Kenya (WSU-GH Kenya) which is a legally registered NGO. WSU GH – Kenya serves to manage a broad range of public health research projects in Kenya supported by WSU and its collaborating partners.<\/p>\n

\nThe Procurement Intern will work closely and provide day-to-day procurement support to the procurement office and also gain skills and experience valuable for professional development. She\/he will be supervised by the Chief Procurement Officer WSU-GH Kenya.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Raising of purchase requisitions
\n\u2022 Consolidating purchase requisitions from users into request for quotations
\n\u2022 Populate day to day data for generating the requisite documents and reports
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate filing system for in-country purchasing documents
\n\u2022 Other procurement duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Should be a recent graduate (2020 onwards) with a bachelor\u2019s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or other related studies such as Logistics, Warehousing
\n\u2022 At least 3 months experience in the field of Procurement
\n\u2022 Must be a member of KISM
\n\u2022 Must be proficient in MS Office Excel<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Ability to engender strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills
\n\u2022 Ability to prioritize, pays high attention to detail and is highly proficient
\n\u2022 Ability to negotiate
\n\u2022 Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
\n\u2022 High level of integrity<\/p>\n
