\nWe are actively seeking an individual who can join the Bryanston team to perform reinforcement detailing of various structural elements on building projects.
\nDetailing will be executed to local and international standards, including WSP in-house standards, under the supervision of a Line Manager & relevant Project Engineer.
\nThe experienced detailer will be proficient in the use of one or more reinforcement detailing packages, with proven experience managing information in a common data environment for major structural projects.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Preparation of reinforcing layouts and reinforcing drawings with suitable detailing packages.
\n\u2022Produce bar bending schedules for construction purposes.
\n\u2022Must be able to detail all elements of commercial buildings eg slabs, columns, lift shaft, stairs, etc.
\n\u2022Compile reinforcing density logs for structural elements for comparison with scheme estimates.
\n\u2022Must be well organized with good filing structure, especially on large projects.
\n\u2022Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines
\n\u2022Working with client File Transfer Protocol (FTP) sites to upload project deliverables, as required.
\n\u2022Work with a team of engineers on multi-disciplinary engineering projects
\n\u2022Understand the project scope and delivery requirements
\n\u2022Interact with team\/client and build relationships.
\n\u2022Work closely with WSP draughts-persons to meet project goals
\n\u2022Compliance with WSP\u2019s project delivery processes and WOW (Way of Working).
\n\u2022Understand the importance of providing solutions and addressing problems.
\n\u2022Be deadline focused.
\n\u2022Demonstrate accuracy\/thoroughness.
\n\u2022Issuing of drawings and \/ or documents (ensuring drawings and \/ or documents reach designated destination) using DR-Pro and maintaining an accurate and up-to-date documentation register. (DR-Pro; DRAWING REGISTER PROFESSIONAL \u2013 data management of all documents, i.e. drawings, schedules, etcetera).<\/p>\n

\n\u20223 to 4 years\u2019 detailing experience working on Prokon Padds, AutoPadds or CADS RC.
\n\u2022Must have an in-depth working knowledge of the reinforcement detailing software.
\n\u2022Must be conversant in the use of AutoCAD.
\n\u2022Experience in the use of Revit will be advantageous.<\/p>\n
