\nBDO South African has a vacancy on Senior Manager – Public Sector in its Risk Advisory Services Department in its Johannesburg office.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Managing Client relationships;
\n\u2022Planning of Audit Projects;
\n\u2022Managing resources and WIP;
\n\u2022Management of day to day activities of assignments (from execution to reporting);
\n\u2022Attend Audit Committees<\/p>\n
\nQualifications:<\/strong>
\n\u2022B.Com Honours in Accounting and CA(SA) \/ B.Com Honours in Internal Auditing and CIA
\n\u2022CISA added advantage<\/p>\n
\n\u20225 – 8 years Senior Management experience in the public sector
\n\u2022Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in public sector external audit
\n\u2022Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in public sector consulting
\n\u2022Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in Internal Auditing
\n\u2022Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management \/ Financial Management
\n\u2022Extensive experience in review and \/ or preparation of GRAP, IFRS and MCS Annual Financial Statements<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Excellent leadership skills
\n\u2022Excellent project management skills
\n\u2022Excellent English written and oral communication skills
\n\u2022Demonstrated ability to present and explain complex issues
\n\u2022Demonstrated ability to negotiate and achieve consensus of recommendations to reduce risk or improve operations
\n\u2022Proficiency with MS Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Expert knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, Municipal Finance Management Act and its regulations and relevant legislative frameworks as applied
\n\u2022Expert knowledge of Supply Chain Management Instruction and Practice Notes, including Best Practices applied through global supply chain guidelines
\n\u2022Expertise in risk and control field with excellent industry and business knowledge in the public sector
\n\u2022Ability to issue technical accounting opinions
\n\u2022Knowledge of CASEWare
\n\u2022Strong business acumen
\n\u2022Demonstrated leadership skills
\n\u2022Sales and negotiation skills
\n\u2022Ability to manage and execute projects
