\nThe role of the Academic Administrator will be to assist the Academic Manager, Lecturers and Programme Managers in the School with various administrative tasks.<\/p>\n
\nGeneral administration:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Assist programme managers and lecturers with general administrative matters.
\n\u2022Compile contracts for Online Lecturers
\n\u2022Schedule and provide support for Live@Milpark Sessions
\n\u2022Keep, record and process claims.
\n\u2022Keep minutes of meetings.
\n\u2022Manage filing and record keeping.
\n\u2022Assist with the preparation for quality assurance verification visits.
\n\u2022Assist with administrative tasks and the organization of part-time academic staff.
\n\u2022Capture feedback from student surveys and communicate to stakeholders.
\n\u2022Assist with the drafting of presentations.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Assist with the student admission process where necessary.
\n\u2022Assist with the student registration process where necessary.
\n\u2022Capture external student exemption decisions on the system and communicate to students.
\n\u2022Assist with internal module exemptions where necessary.
\n\u2022Assist with the implementation of the at-risk management process on selected programmes.
\n\u2022Assist with the management of various learnership programmes.
\n\u2022Assist with the running of Online Proctored Exams<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Address student and client administrative queries.
\n\u2022Ensure the student profiles are kept up to date with all contact intervention information and\/or academic info.
\n\u2022Deal with student\/facilitator\/part-time academics\/client queries (email, telephonic and online system) as and when necessary.
\n\u2022Build good relationships with internal departments, part-time academics, clients and students.
\n\u2022Maintain professional relationships with all Milpark management and staff.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Assist in administrative tasks, planning, organising and control in the delivery of special projects as determined by management<\/p>\n
\nEducation & Experience Requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Matric, Grade 12 or equivalent plus an NQF Level 6 Business related qualification or equivalent
\n\u2022Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams
\n\u2022Certification in Administration (beneficial)
\n\u2022Minimum two years\u2019 administrative experience in an Educational Institute
\n\u2022Private Higher Educational Institute experience<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Excellent written communication skills
\n\u2022Excellent interpersonal skills
\n\u2022Ability to give high attention to detail
\n\u2022Ability to work in a team
