In 2018, CA Connect merged with Milpark Education and now constitutes Milpark\u2019s Department of Professional Accounting (details at http:\/\/OnlineCTA.Milpark.ac.za).<\/p>\n In 2019, we launched the first fully online SAICA-accredited CTA and Bridging programme in South Africa. \nOur programmes are growing, and we are looking for junior lecturers and academic trainees on an annual contract basis that are interested in joining a high-performance culture in each of our 4 core disciplines, namely:
\n\u2022Financial Reporting,
\n\u2022Management Accounting & Finance,
\n\u2022Taxation, and
\n\u2022Corporate Governance & Auditing.<\/p>\n
\nEach team is responsible for delivering and supporting all aspects of the discipline in the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA \/ CTA) and Bridging programmes while aligning with our core values.
\nThe role includes teaching and learning design and material development; video recording; facilitation of individual and group live online sessions with students; written and online student support; assessment setting; marking and self-development through study \/ research and community involvement.
\nMilpark\u2019s head office is in Claremont, Cape Town but there is scope for flexible and online working arrangements if staff have a suitable working environment and reliable internet access.<\/p>\n

\nEducation & Experience Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n\u2022At minimum a completed SAICA accredited CTA and eligibility to write SAICA\u2019s ITC or expected CTA completion in 2021.
\n\u2022A signed 3-year SAICA training contract that starts in 2021. (Ideally also a discussion with the firm where you are signed that they would be willing to release you from Year 1 of your training contract.)
\n\u2022A track record of above average academic performance.
\n\u2022If you did not complete, Milpark\u2019s CTA, a recommendation from the head of department (or equivalent) of the university at which your CTA was completed.
