\nTechnical Work Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Guide and support DOH Nursing staff implementing DS-TB and DR-TB
\n\u2022Perform Clinical Audits
\n\u2022Document Lessons Learnt for future improvement of Programme
\n\u2022Review reporting documents for accuracy and completeness
\n\u2022Conduct monthly file audits and Data Quality Assessments
\n\u2022Implement, support and manage Quality Improvement initiatives and provide technical assistance
\n\u2022Develop Quality Improvement Plans
\n\u2022Conduct skills assessment for staff working in all health facilities and Community Based Services
\n\u2022Conduct Weekly Facility visits to provide in-service training in all health facilities
\n\u2022Conduct weekly\/monthly mentoring to staff that received training
\n\u2022Conduct bi-weekly support visits to district hospitals
\n\u2022Ensure adherence to Guidelines and Best Practice
\n\u2022Keep up to date with developments<\/p>\n
\nEducation:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Degree or Diploma in Nursing
\n\u2022Registration with South African Nursing Council
\n\u2022Extensive experience in TB & HIV\/AIDS treatment and care
\n\u2022NIMART, IMCI, QI, PMTCT and PACK\/PC101 trained<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Diploma in Clinical Assessment, Diagnosis and Treatment
\n\u2022Quality Improvement Training<\/p>\n
\n\u2022At least 1 years\u2019 experience as a Nurse Mentor
\n\u20223 years General Practice experience or Specialist Area
\n\u20225 years\u2019 experience in working in a Primary Health Care setting
\n\u2022Extensive experience in HIV\/AIDS and TB treatment and care
\n\u2022Experience in managing patients on TB Treatment\/ART
\n\u2022Updates in area(s) of Mentorship \u2013 Annual or 3 yearly as applicable<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Valid Driver\u2019s licence with Own car
\n\u2022SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
\n\u2022Advanced computer skills
\n\u2022Minimal\/Moderate\/Excessive overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required
\n\u2022Willing to work overtime<\/p>\n
