The above position has become available for our Depot in Kempton Park. The purpose of this is role is to assist with the effective running of the Regional Depot by assuming control and responsibility for the daily administrative function as per laid down procedures.<\/p>\n

\nLocation:<\/strong> Kaalfontein, Gauteng, South Africa

\nContract Type:<\/strong> Permanent
\nSalary: <\/strong>Market Related<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nResponsibilities include:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Controls all payments made from petty cash and ensures that monies are signed for and receipts are kept for reconciliation purposes.
\n\u2022Reconciles petty cash on a weekly basis and forward reconciliations to Head Office.
\n\u2022Maintains records of payments to casuals for record and reconciliation purposes.
\n\u2022Executes daily banking (if practical) of all cheques and cash monies received by completing deposit slips and depositing money into Starke Ayres bank account.
\n\u2022Informs National Credit Controllers of account payments received and banked.
\n\u2022Generates daily COD reconciliation reports to ensure that all monies have been received.
\n\u2022Reconciles monthly COD list as requested by National Credit Controllers.
\n\u2022Applies for phytosanitary certificates for export department
\n\u2022Compile and submit daily audit reports<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nMinimum requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Matric
\n\u2022Accounting diploma or similar tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
\n\u20223 year\u2019s relevant experience
\n\u2022Computer literacy (Word and Excel is essential)<\/p>\n
