Job Title: SENIOR CLERK:CALL CENTRE X3<\/strong> Job Summary:<\/strong> Requirements:<\/strong> KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:<\/strong> TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:<\/strong> It could be expected of successful candidates to work Saturdays and after hours on weekdays.<\/p>\n

\nSalary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n
\nKEY RESSPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong>
\nReceive and handle telephone policy enquiries in the Call Centre Department and action
\naccordingly.
\nAddress all outstanding requirements on new applications in New Business.
\nFollow-up on outstanding requirements in terms of unpaid claims (non-payments of premiums,
\ndefaults payments and incorrect deductions)
\nProvide feedback on outstanding accounts and refunds in debtors.
\nComplete amendments to Policies, within delegation and requirements, (as per clients request),
\nand ensure client receives a copy of amended policies
\nEnsure that the necessary security measures are in place when providing policy details to either
\nthe client or 3rd parties e.g. broker
\nThe Call centre may only provide policy information to a client when that client has a single policy
\nwith AVBOB.
\nRefer leads to the Direct Marketing Department and providing enquiry numbers on claims to
\nbranches.
\nAttend to administrative task as and when requested within the section.<\/p>\n
\nTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:<\/strong>
\nMatric
\nRE5 (advantage)<\/p>\n
\nComputer literate and must be able to work under pressure
\nGood communication skills (English and two African languages)
\nCustomer Centric (client friendly and service orientated)
\nListening and problem solving skills
\n2 \u2013 3 Years life assurance, preferably in policy maintenance\/client services environment
\n2 \u2013 3 Years administrative experience
\nAVBOB Production system will be an advantage<\/p>\n
