Job Title: Mine Overseer<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Barberton, Mpumalanga, South Africa
\nReference #:<\/strong> MO2021-10
\nContract Type:<\/strong> Permanent
\nSalary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nIs responsible to plan, coordinate, lead and control resources and design section specific systems to ensure that the shaft development and stoping processes operates safe and effectively. The role will carry a legal appointment applicable to the role.<\/p>\n

Main Role Outcomes:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Ensure proper observation of the regulations and compliance with lawful order given in the interests of safety and health, by every person employed in the area of responsibility
\n\u2022Ensure effective resource utilization and optimization.
\n\u2022Evaluate theoretical concepts and design improvements.
\n\u2022Develop and maintain a document management system to ensure efficient storage and access of information.
\n\u2022Work according to the Mine\u2019s Code of Practice and report deviations.
\n\u2022Ensure adherence and compliance to Safety, Health and Environmental processes.<\/p>\n

Requirements: <\/strong>
\nMinimum Requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 Certificate)
\n\u2022Metalliferous Mining Blasting Certificate
\n\u2022Mine Overseer\u2019s Certificate of Competency or Mine Manager Certificate
\n\u2022Minimum Five (5) years production experience in a mechanized mining environment
\n\u2022Minimum of Five (5) years as a Shiftboss or Production Supervisor in a Greenstone environment
\n\u2022Medium- and Short-term planning experience
\n\u2022Code 8 Drivers License
\n\u2022Valid certificate of physical fitness<\/p>\n
