\nSupports financial decision-making information by collecting, processing, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data<\/p>\n
\nRESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong>
\nPreparation of journals and financial statements:<\/strong>
\nPreparation of final group management accounts (debtors, creditors, intercompanies, loans, cash books, treasury share scheme, taxation)
\nFinalization of management accounts for Group
\nProcessing of month end journals through perform month end closing activities such as account reconciliation, revenue accounting, expense accounting, etc.
\nFull general ledger reconciliations
\nPreparation and processing of monthly VAT Recon
\nPrepare and maintain the Fixed Asset register and reconciliations
\nCalculate and accounting for depreciation, assets disposal, asset purchases
\nVerify and report on assets when required
\nProcessing of rental recoveries and rental expenses<\/p>\n
\nEnsure financial records comply with company policies and accounting principles
\nMaintain accurate accounting records
\nPrepare and submit financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
\nReview all financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
\nDetermine accounting errors or discrepancies and suggest necessary corrective action
\nManage proper filing and document archiving<\/p>\n
\nSupport preparation of annual budget forecast and projections.
\nAssist in preparing necessary documentation for annual financial audits.
\nLiaise with auditors and assist in the audit process
\nResolving of queries
\nMaintaining all internal audit requirements in full compliance of the BLT internal audit requirements
\nCompile statutory reports \/ return as and when required
\nAssist with the finalization of income statements and balance sheets on a monthly basis and for year-end audits<\/p>\n
