Report, monitor and analyse marketing and<br \/>\nbrand activities and maintain a keen interest in the growth and profitability of the<br \/>\noverall business.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Brand Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Gauteng Area, Gauteng, South Africa<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> BM19\/10\/21<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Marketing Execution:<\/strong><br \/>\nDeliver specified outcomes and provide others with expert advice while working<br \/>\nwithin established marketing programs.<br \/>\nCreate brand prominence through co-ordinated activities and communication.<br \/>\nDeliver against business metrics through multiple activities and touchpoints.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brand Strategy and Effectiveness:<\/strong><br \/>\nManage brand(s) and coordinate brand support activities, using brand tracking<br \/>\nand\/or performance analysis to inform future brand activities.<br \/>\nDevelop and implement an integrated brand strategy to yield optimal business<br \/>\nresults.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brand Positioning:<\/strong><br \/>\nAssist in achieving brand positioning and lead on contributing ideas to brand<br \/>\nplans.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marketing Communications:<\/strong><br \/>\nDevelop and deliver marketing communications campaigns across all media to<br \/>\nsupport the business plan and increase sales.<br \/>\nEffectively utilise all channels, in an integrated and co-ordinated manner to<br \/>\ndeliver on brand strategy.<br \/>\nIdentify suitable brand opportunities and execute accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>Data Collection and Analysis<br \/>\nCollate and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods and formats. Involves<br \/>\nworking independently.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Portfolio Management:<\/strong><br \/>\nDeliver small project workstreams, carrying out specified project activities within<br \/>\ndefined time and quality parameters and ensuring adherence to the prescribed<br \/>\nproject management methodology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stakeholder Engagement (Internal and External):<\/strong><br \/>\nContribute to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding<br \/>\nout their needs\/issues\/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and<br \/>\nevents and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and<br \/>\ncommitment.<br \/>\nAgency management: Manage day-to-day agency operations in order to achieve<br \/>\noptimal return from agency resources.<br \/>\nInternal and external supplier management: Co-ordinate and collaborate with all<br \/>\nrelevant stakeholders to ensure delivery of brand strategy through the entire<br \/>\nvalue chain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marketing Impact Assessment:<\/strong><br \/>\nSupport the collection of data and participate in reviews of marketing activities to<br \/>\nidentify opportunities for improvements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal Capability Building:<\/strong><br \/>\nDevelop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development<br \/>\nplanning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or<br \/>\nmaintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve<br \/>\nperformance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant<br \/>\ntechnology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing<br \/>\neducation, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Operational Compliance:<\/strong><br \/>\nDevelop knowledge and understanding of the organization&#8217;s policies and<br \/>\nprocedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure<br \/>\nown work adheres to those standards.
