Evoke is Educor\u2019s in-house marketing and advertising agency. Operating as an independent service provider, the agency creates, drives and services, Educor\u2019s strategic portfolios, target market research and development, above, below and through the line advertising and all other marketing related functions.<\/p>\n

Educor has a strong heritage of educational excellence delivered through its face to face and distance learning channels and is fast establishing itself as a leader in the print, online and virtual spaces.<\/p>\n

With an intimate understanding of the South African market and internationally, the agency directs the organisations\u2019 strategic focus with regards to recruitment strategies, brand positioning and develops its retention strategies. Through both anecdotal and secondary research, the agency gains a thorough understanding of each of the markets it serves with its present focus being the international student.<\/p>\n

Being able to identify, relate to and understand consumer nuances and communication using the subtleties of each country\u2019s colloquial language, the agency is able to position each brand as the next door neighbour and not a beyond our borders service provider.<\/p>\n

Job Title: Brand Manager<\/strong>

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nResponsible for adapting a brand strategy for the brand\/s target market. As the ‘brand guardian’, the brand managers maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications, and may manage a portfolio of brands\\<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Responsible for managing brands in various markets to deliver business objectives.
\n\u2022Responsible for implementing marketing strategies that develops and grows the designated brand
\n\u2022Create and manage the budget and organize resources to meet the brand objectives.
\n\u2022Responsible for researching, planning, coordinating and implementing of marketing plans\/special projects
\n\u2022To deliver excellent brand marketing execution in a complex, multi-cultural environment that contributes to long term profitable growth.
\n\u2022New product development, facilitating collection of preliminary data, analyses information and reports data for projects\/brand strategies
\n\u2022Creative campaigns to continue being a market leader and gain market share from competitors.
\n\u2022Conducts assessments of the products and market and competitive activity and recommends strategy for the marketing plan; promotional plan, and projects schedule process.
\n\u2022Coordinates and cooperates with Sales, Academics, and Product Managers in launching new products.
\n\u2022Attends trade shows and industry association meetings.
\n\u2022Negotiates with outside vendors as appropriate.
\n\u2022May establish product pricing<\/p>\n

Requirements: <\/strong>
\nREQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.Marketing Degree or relevant qualification
\n2.Excellent computer literacy is essential especially in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.<\/p>\n

Strategy Development:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Conduct Market Research
\n\u2022Analytics of data to identify trends, issues, opportunities for growth and evolvement
\n\u2022Obtain continuous insights from branches\/sites
\n\u2022Identify opportunities for new product development<\/p>\n

Budgets:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Develop annual budgets
\n\u2022Monitor and update brand expenditure on a monthly basis
\n\u2022Re-align budgets to brand targets
\n\u2022Ensure budget allocation will yield the highest ROI<\/p>\n

Stakeholder Relationships:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Establish relationships with all the business unit stakeholders ( Head of Brand, Campus Managers, Sales Heads, Academic Heads, external service providers)<\/p>\n

Marketing Campaigns:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Development of effective and creative marketing campaigns that contributes to the brand growth
\n\u2022Ensure all communication and collateral is aligned to the brand values, identity and vision
\n\u2022Ensure timeous execution of campaigns
\n\u2022Identify new marketing channels for driving brand awareness and lead generation<\/p>\n
