\nLocation:<\/strong> Tokai, Western Cape, South Africa

\nSalary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nKey Account management and implementation (60%):<\/strong>
\n\u2022Develop and implement strategies to grow sales and market share of the company in line with the business plan, focusing on building working relationships with key accounts customers.
\n\u2022Increase revenue, manage expenses to an acceptable ROI and meet defined profit objectives across accounts managed
\n\u2022Plan, execute and communicate results of key account interactions
\n\u2022Actively seek out new revenue opportunities across existing and new customer base, engage with internal resources to implement such strategies
\n\u2022Develop and qualify leads through both company-led marketing efforts and self-initiated account activities
\n\u2022Provide marketing data, competitive intelligence and other such information to assist the company\u2019s continual improvement efforts
\n\u2022Implement plans and monitor and report on progress with all key customer stakeholders.
\n\u2022Implement corporate strategies by ensuring products are represented on key account formularies and listed timeously at all wholesalers and vendors.<\/p>\n

Relationship building (20%):<\/strong>
\n\u2022Optimize existing relationships with key accounts, ensuring high profile and appropriate relationship building with the relevant stakeholders
\n\u2022Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the company
\n\u2022Develop a strong understanding of clients\u2019 organizational structures and build relationships at both technical and senior management levels
\n\u2022Establish customer needs and become the focal point for providing service to key clients
\n\u2022Conduct effective presentations and meetings in a variety of settings
\n\u2022Develop and provide programs, proposals and supportive documentation to develop business and ensure ongoing revenue increases
\n\u2022Lead and participate in customer support efforts to build strong customer loyalty
\n\u2022Occupies committee positions where appropriate and beneficial to the company<\/p>\n

Internal co-ordination (10%):<\/strong>
\n\u2022Pro-actively ensure interaction and co-ordination with field sales and relevant management to execute sales strategy
\n\u2022Work closely with the marketing team to achieve seasonal and new product launch objectives
\n\u2022Contribute to the overall effective functioning of the sales division as a member of the sales management team
\n\u2022Make recommendations internally for new products and services to meet client needs<\/p>\n

Staff management (10%):<\/strong>
\n\u2022Manage the workflow and work outputs of Key Accounts Managers
\n\u2022Ensure effective staff training and development
\n\u2022Ensure effective performance management
\n\u2022Attend to all aspects of staff supervision and support<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nPRE-REQUISITES:<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>a)Education:<\/strong>
\n\u2022B degree or equivalent ideally Business Management<\/p>\n

b)Experience:<\/strong>
\n\u20228 \u2013 10 years industry (KA experience) within a generic, FMCG and CAMS pharmaceutical environment
\n\u2022Min 5 years\u2019 pharmaceutical Sales Management experience
