The following positions have become available as part of the various projects currently being run by us and you are welcome to apply should you meet the requirements of the position.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Research Doctor x2 &#8211; Tembisa<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong><strong>: Tembisa, Gauteng, South Africa<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Reference #:<\/strong> Research Doctor\/TM<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type:<\/strong> Contract<br \/>\n12 Months<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nWork Description: The Research Doctor is responsible for accurate, timely, complete, ethical and efficient processing of study volunteers in accordance with the Study Protocol and procedure manual, and Good Clinical Practice. The doctor is also responsible for coordination of specific protocols overall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical Work Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nLiaise with Internal and External Stakeholders<br \/>\nApply relevant clinical knowledge and skills within protocol guidance<br \/>\nApply knowledge and understanding of communicable diseases<br \/>\nResearch Study-related tasks<br \/>\nAttending and conducting training activities<br \/>\nReporting and record keeping<br \/>\nResearch-related administrative duties<br \/>\nPerformance management<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Education:<\/strong><br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree from college or university in Medicine<br \/>\nRegistered Medical Practitioner with the HPCSA<br \/>\nGCP Certification<br \/>\n<strong>Experience:<\/strong><br \/>\nAt least 2 years\u2019 experience as a Medical Doctor mandatory<br \/>\nExperience as a research clinician is preferable<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nProficient personal computer skills<br \/>\nProficient in written and spoken English and fluency in Zulu\/other local languages<br \/>\nSA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa<br \/>\nValid Driver\u2019s License<br \/>\nWilling to work overtime<br \/>\nMeticulous attention to detail and open to quality review of all work done<\/p>\n<p>Kindly provide current and relevant references for background checks<\/p>\n<p>All appointments are subject to the preferred candidates obtaining the necessary security clearance, reference checking, and competency assessment.
