\nRESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong>
\nAdministration:<\/strong>
\nConduct data entry into company systems, and review and verify the information
\nto ensure accuracy and accessibility.<\/p>\n
\nPerform basic data entry tasks, including data verification.<\/p>\n
\nSupport others by working on a variety of data management tasks. Provide
\nClaims Assessors with the necessary assistance in gathering information \/
\ndocuments as and when required.<\/p>\n
\nUse standard office software to carry out basic formatting on letters, memoranda
\nand routine reports.<\/p>\n
\nAnswer the telephone and assist callers or those making varied enquiries by
\nemail or mail with any basic requests for information, directing more complex
\nmatters to colleagues as necessary.<\/p>\n
\nCreate positive experiences for clients by interacting courteously with them.<\/p>\n
\nCarry out standard customer service activities and handle simple customer
\nenquiries.<\/p>\n
\nMakes good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward. For
\nexample, knows when to act independently and when to escalate issues.

\nGeneral Education:<\/strong>
\nMatric \/ Grade 12\/ SAQA Accredited (Essential)
\nEquivalent Regulatory exam 5 (Essential)<\/p>\n
\nGeneral Experience:<\/strong>
\n1 – 2 years working experience in the life\/funeral insurance industry, preferably within an administrative function (Essential)
\n1 – 2 years experience as a claims administrator or customer service<\/p>\n
