\nBDO has a vacancy for a Trainee IT Auditor in the Technology Advisory Division at the Durban office.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Information Technology General Computer Controls Review.
\n\u2022Application Controls Review and noticeable knowledge of Revenue, Expenditure, Inventory and Payroll is advantageous.
\n\u2022Analyze information systems data to assess the accuracy, completeness and timeliness
\nof transaction processing.
\n\u2022Ability to develop an adequate understanding of client\u2019s businesses and identifying
\nrisks and controls.
\n\u2022Provide technical support to Engagement auditors where computer assisted audit
\ntechniques (CAATS) are required.
\n\u2022Be knowledgeable or keen to learn data analysis using IDEA or ACL.
\n\u2022Have reasonable knowledge of Project Management controls.
\n\u2022Having reasonable understanding of IT risk management, IT governance concepts, best practice frameworks, COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001-2 and other models is advantageous.<\/p>\n
\nQualifications and Experience:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Computer Science or Information Systems BCom Degree. \/ B Com. Accounting\/Internal Audit\/Informatics or Equivalent
