\nThe Category Specialist – Security is responsible for defining and driving strategies in order to consistently deliver sales results and achieve annual growth targets. The candidate must ensure a robust relationship with existing customers and establish new relationships with additional customers appropriate to our strategy.
\nAs the Category Specialist – Security you will build and maintain good customer relationships in order to effectively meet and achieve business objectives, and sales targets. You should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth.
\nUltimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers across various channels and verticals.<\/p>\n
\nRESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
\n\u2022Establish professional and robust relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
\n\u2022Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
\n\u2022Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
\n\u2022Perform research and identify new potential customers creating new business opportunities
\n\u2022Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients\u2019 needs
\n\u2022Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
\n\u2022Stay up to date with new product launches.
\n\u2022Proven marketing and sales competencies and ability to analyse markets and set strategies
\n\u2022Generating new leads and developing existing customers
\n\u2022Responding to customer enquiries
\n\u2022Providing feedback regarding suggestions for improvement and market research
\n\u2022Customer account maintenance
\n\u2022Attending of ad hoc training sessions
\n\u2022Find and capitalise on new product opportunities and possible turnkey projects by positioning the brand of ACDC in these customers.
\n\u2022Managing employer\u2019s expectations, client relationships with exceptional customer service and support.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Own car and valid driver’s licence
\n\u2022Essential: 3 – 5 years\u2019 experience in Sales \u2013 Electrical \/ Electronics
\n\u2022Proven work experience as a Category Specialist \u2013 Security\/Security Field Sales
\n\u2022Sales Experience in the security field dealing with Gate Motors, Electric Fencing, Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, WiFi and IP cameras or kits, HDMI and VGA Switches as well as all relevant accessories
\n\u2022The ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
\n\u2022Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
\n\u2022Sound communication skills (written & verbal), coupled with the effective ability to interact with people at all levels
\n\u2022Availability to travel as and when required
\n\u2022A relevant Sales, Marketing, or closely related qualification would be advantageous.
\n\u2022Computer literate (Microsoft office, AccPacc, Syspro, Power BI, Sage Enterprise Intelligence)
\n\u2022A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends.
\n\u2022Demonstrate Problem-solving skills and negotiation skills
\n\u2022Delivering strategies to optimize Sales Force performance
\n\u2022Anticipating business needs, identifying strategies to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate business risks
