As a Team Lead, you will work in a cross-functional team<br \/>\nwith the Product Owner, Designers and engineers to co-develop the digital products.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Regional Technical Lead (Kenya)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>: Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya<br \/>\n<strong>Reference #:<\/strong> Regional Technical Lead (Kenya)<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Type: <\/strong>Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Salary: <\/strong>Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nLead the engineering team within a cross-functional, Agile squad to deliver<br \/>\ndigital journeys and products together with product and design<br \/>\n\u25aa Define the framework and push for the best choice when it comes to<br \/>\ntechnology selection and implementation<br \/>\n\u25aa Use Agile engineering practices and various software and web<br \/>\ndevelopment technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient<br \/>\nsolutions that enhance the client customer and employee experience<br \/>\n\u25aa Lead team members to craft clear user stories, design tests for prototypes<br \/>\nand products, and continuously deliver product enhancements<br \/>\n\u25aa Liaise with other teams within and outside the Digital unit to negotiate<br \/>\ntimelines, deliverables and dependencies<br \/>\n\u25aa Collaborate closely with Product Owners and teams members to identify<br \/>\nand socialize product and delivery risks<br \/>\n\u25aa Drive forward and role-model best practice engineering processes and<br \/>\nAgile behavior and ensuring teams members follow suit<br \/>\n\u25aa Communicate with business stakeholders about Agile processes to set<br \/>\nand manage expectations about delivery methods and timelines<br \/>\n\u25aa Mentor and coach junior engineers on the best engineering practices<br \/>\n\u25aa Collaborate closely on defining the appropriate solution architecture for<br \/>\ndigital product solutions<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nAt least 8 years relevant experience in systems development and proven hands-on experience as architect within an agile<br \/>\norganization with multiple digital channels.
