\nTo digitally communicate the image and goals of the Aurum Group through the use of effective web, video
\nand other digital communication strategies under the leadership of the Director of
\nCommunications. The Digital Media specialist will manage, maintain and help develop the Aurum website and other Aurum project websites as well as other digital media platforms. The incumbent will be responsible for review and advice on the use of new technologies that will enhance the Communications Unit\u2019s productivity by utilizing up to date web technologies. The Digital Media specialist promotes a client-oriented approach and works in close collaboration with the operations, programme and project teams in the Aurum Group. This is an exciting role in a small and agile team as part of a global organisation.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022Maintain a fresh cohesive website design, monitor web traffic and increase online marketing
\npresence.
\n\u2022Create digital content including, but not limited to graphics and video.
\n\u2022Oversee the Aurum project websites and communications apps.
\n\u2022Constantly seek out information for the site and explore new technology and software and how it might assist Aurum in communicating to various audiences.
\n\u2022Monitor site-level analytics to improve the performance and engagement
\n\u2022Assist in the development, documentation, and communication of acceptable use of electronic communications policy, regulations and standards.
\n\u2022Manage and complete requests for content edits and updates; serve as the liaison between Communications, ICT and programme units regarding website uploads and edits<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Participate in project meetings as and when required.
\n\u2022Coordinate and consult with internal and external stakeholders to gather information about project needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output requirements and deadlines.
\n\u2022Ensure continuous follow-up with other stakeholders to achieve project deliverables.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022In depth knowledge of HTML or other web-based technologies
\n\u2022Knowledge of Internet infrastructure and practices
\n\u2022 Knowledge of website design practices and familiarity with recent trends in marketing, including social networking strategies
\n\u2022Ability to detect, analyze, and solve technical problems
\n\u2022Knowledge of strategic communications, public relations and marketing strategies
\n\u2022Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
\nExperience:
\n\u2022 Five or more years of professional website\/digital communications management experience
\npreferred.<\/p>\n
