\nThe position of Senior Lecturer role is to teach and assess students via distance learning online education mode. The Lecturer will also conduct research and will be responsible for the academic oversight of the following business management disciplines: Operations Management; Technology Management; Strategic Management; Entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n
\nTeaching:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Implement the assessment policy and procedures of Milpark in line with HEQC requirements on assigned modules and subjects
\n\u2022Lecture and assess on assigned modules in field of expertise.
\n\u2022Manage the assessment drafting process for assigned subjects across modules within timelines as require
\n\u2022Conduct internal moderation on assigned subjects
\n\u2022Sign off on all assessments on assigned subjects
\n\u2022Manage academic assessment discrepancies for assigned modules and make recommendations to the Results Committee.
\n\u2022Control and sign off marks for assigned modules
\n\u2022Assist with academic policy development for the faculty processes
\n\u2022Obtain input from industry to ensure innovation and relevance
\n\u2022Take responsibility for all learning material as well as subject related information loaded on myMilpark

\n\u2022Recruit part-time academic staff (lecturers, examiners, critical readers, authors, moderators, tutors, supervisors, markers) for assigned areas
\n\u2022Participate in \u201cmock\u201d lecturing process before appointment of lecturing staff to assess capability
\n\u2022Take responsibility for the quality of academic part-time staff appointed and contracted on assigned subjects
\n\u2022Manage induction and development of new part-time academic staff
\n\u2022Manage the performance of part-time lecturing staff to ensure that Milpark\u2019s standards are met
\n\u2022Take responsibility for part-time lecturer and examiner development of teaching and learning ability according to quality assurance requirements

\n\u2022Experience in setting assessments at postgraduate level
\n\u2022An understanding of the challenges of higher education and an awareness of trends in the global management education landscape
