Assist with selling of valves and in particular, actuated valves and spares where technical knowledge and support is required in the engineering and mining industries. Job Title: Technical Sales Support<\/strong>
\nLocation:<\/strong> Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa

\nContract Type:<\/strong> Permanent<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):<\/strong>
\n\u2022Grow sales of product within the local industry
\n\u2022Responsible for onsite Technical Field Servicing and Repairs
\n\u2022Assist agents\/clients with technical support with regards to valve selection and application
\n\u2022Follow through of quotes\/tenders\/technical advice
\n\u2022Liaison with consulting engineers\/mining houses\/municipalities and end users
\n\u2022Demonstrates products and do verbal \/visual presentation to all potential clients
\n\u2022Maintain accurate records of pricing, sales and activity reports
\n\u2022Will be required to travel extensively
\n\u2022Must have a valid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE:<\/strong>
\n\u20223- 5 years\u2019 experience in sales<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATION:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Sales and Marketing qualification (IMM or equivalent) will be an advantage
\n\u2022Technical skills based in engineering products<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong>
\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:<\/strong>
\n\u2022Mechanical aptitude
\n\u2022Technical aptitude
\n\u2022Good interpersonal skills
\n\u2022Good technical skill base in pumps, spares, ancillary equipment and applications
\n\u2022General Administration skills
\n\u2022Computer literate<\/p>\n
